Account Manager

London (HYBRID) £30 - £32K (DOE) Permanent

They are an extremely well respected and established representation brand and their vision is simple -  to represent tourism brands from across the globe and help them build vital relationships for their clients across the travel trade and media that ultimately bring more guests to their destination.

The Role

You along with a team of 5 other Account Managers will be reporting into the Account Director. You will have your own portfolio of around 6 accounts, however the beauty with this one is that you will work closely with the Account Director and have a say in the accounts and portfolio that you would like to manage. This is to give you the autonomy to make your own decisions and to help you flourish within the role which should give you an idea on the type of culture they like to breed... believe us when we say they're aren't many as accommodating as this in the industry! 

As for the nuts and bolts of the role - in short, you will build and manage relationships with key partners across the travel industry through face to face or online training sessions, teaching your clients about the properties and brands that you represent. You will plan and manage trade events and organise Fam Tours. 

The Person 

Refreshingly, this representation business is open to a wide spectrum of experience but the non-negotiable here is that the right candidate will need to understand the industry lingo and at the very least, know the top 5 tour ops within the UK market! Any previous representation experience is a bonus and they are happy to provide product training and hand you your book of contacts. 

Core to your skill set will need to be relationship building with clients and stakeholders at ALL levels. You'll need to be proactive, driven and to work under your own initiative with incredible attention to detail as you will be juggling different projects simultaneously. 

The Day to Day 

  • Build and manage relationships with key partners across the travel industry
  • Drive visitation and sales to our clients’ brands through commercial partnerships
  • Support co-op marketing campaigns with key tour operator partners
  • Deliver training sessions, both in-person and online
  • Plan and manage trade shows
  • Plan and host in-market visits for our clients to meet key partners
  • Host fam trips 
  • Plan and execute events
  • Provide robust reporting
