Head of Marketing

London (HYBRID) Up to £60K (DOE) Permanent

Our client is one of the worlds industry leading private member hotel clubs that have partnered with some of the best and most desirable hotel brands in luxury travel. Their owner (one of the nicest in the biz!) represents on a number of advisory boards across the industry. With sophisticated technology and a forward thinking, tech savvy app to enhance members’ experience, they are one of the very best in the biz and continue to grow from strength to strength. 

The Role 

With an expanding portfolio and an increasing database of Independent Consultants they have now opened a new role withing the company to take the lead on the marketing function within the business. You will need to create and execute a marketing campaign for the business with a particular focus on market research and industry trends and translate this information with an overall goal of building on member engagement and enhancing an already well known brand within the industry.

The Person 

You will need to have at least 3 years experience within the travel industry, enthusiastic and commercially astute. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging editorial content and marketing. Representing this brand, you'll need to have a strong understanding of the biggest and best luxury hospitality brands in the industry. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are a given and over time you will likely be building out a wider marketing department so this is the ideal role for someone ambitious about kicking on with their career in marketing. 

Main duties & Responsibilities 

  • Campaign - create and execute a marketing campaign for the business
  • Member engagement - working with analytics to present tactical suggestions to members & clients
  • Research - conduct regular monthly market research on relevant industry trends, events and opportunities 
  • Social Media - Create calendar and source relevant imagery for content creator 
  • Inspiration - Gathering topis and adding to the company CRM with relevant descriptions/images and keeping them up to date. 
  • Newsletters - creating and sending monthly newsletters (MailChimp) + sales strategy to hotels 

The Small Print 

  • Salary: £60K depending on experience 
  • Mon - Friday 9-6pm - London/Hybrid
  • 20 days annual leave
  • Annual team away day (international destination)
