Hotel Representation Sales Manager

HYBRID - London £40k - £48k + Bonus Permanent

We've been moving big in the luxury hotel game this year and this new client is our latest partner. Originally founded in Europe and with trade booming on the mainland, the UK market was there for the taking and their first year of trading here has just added fuel to the rocket. 

They represent an exclusive range of luxury independent hotels across the world, whether boutique hotel in the Arlberg or alpine chalet in the mountains, you can be sure that they all impress with individuality, high quality standards, a personal service and love for the guest. Our client provides a range of services around sales and communication with the aim to increase occupancy, optimise average rates, improve the guest experience and raise awareness.

The role...

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join this B2B hotel luxury hotel representation company at exciting time of growth. Since the launch of the UK office in October 2021 they have curated a boutique collection of privately owned hotels that they represent here in the UK leisure market acting as an extension of a hotel’s in-house sales team.

You will be building personal relationships with key travel trade partners and hotel teams in order to support the Sales Directors, GMs or owners in the day-to-day working of the business. You will be joining a dynamic, modern, pro-active, results-driven team that is excited about the early growth of the company.

Day to day...

  • Deal with incoming hotel stay enquiries for the travel trade with the aim to convert to bookings, ensuring prompt and accurate communication between hotel and agent partners as well as pro-actively pursuing outstanding enquires.
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication.
  • Make appointments over the phone and email with travel trade business owners and senior management, organising small events such as dinner gatherings when necessary
  • Help organise cluster events with up to 10 hotel clients in the market.
  • Aid in diary management for the Sales Directors including booking travel arrangements for the UK team, planning and attending FAM trips
  • Administer monthly reporting for hotel clients and maintenance of the company database
  • Create invitations for company run events
  • Deal with social media engagement from followers.
  • Undertake research projects to maintain an up to date knowledge of the current market for properties and travel agents
  • Arrange appointments for yourself to see key partners and accompany hotelier partners on appointments when they are in the UK market.

Desired skills:

  • Proven work experience in a B2B sales role within luxury travel or hotels
  • UK driving licence and ability to travel both within the UK and abroad.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop rapport through a confident phone manner.
  • MS Office & general IT skills
  • Detail orientated with a high level of organisation
  • Confidence to work independently, as well as creatively as part of a team.
