Hotel Representation Sales Manager

Hybrid/Munich €40k - €48k Permanent

Another new role for our latest partner in the luxury hotel game. Originally founded in Europe they opened their UK office last year with roaring success.

Our client provides a range of services around sales and communication with the aim to increase occupancy, optimise average rates, improve the guest experience and raise awareness.

The role...

We are looking for a Munich based Sales Manager to join this B2B luxury hotel representation company at an exciting time of growth. Since launching they have curated a boutique collection of privately owned hotels that they represent in the DACH leisure market acting as an extension of their clients in-house sales function. You will be building personal relationships with key travel trade partners and hotel teams in order to support the Sales Directors, GMs or owners in the day-to-day working of the business. 

You will be joining a dynamic, modern, proactive, results-driven team that is excited about the growth of the company.

Day to day...

  • Arrange sales calls for yourself to see key partners and accompany hotelier partners on appointments during market visits
  • Make appointments over the phone and email with travel trade business owners and senior management, organising small events such as dinner gatherings when necessary
  • Planning and attending FAM trips
  • Deal with incoming hotel stay enquiries for the travel trade with the aim to convert to bookings, ensuring prompt and accurate communication between hotel and agent partners as well as pro-actively pursuing outstanding enquiries.
  • Build strong client relationships (both hotels and agents) through regular communication.
  • Aid in diary management for the Sales Directors including booking travel arrangements
  • Administer monthly reporting for hotel clients and maintenance of the company database
  • Create invitations for company run events
  • Undertake research projects to maintain an up to date knowledge of the current market for properties and travel agents

Desired skills:

  • Proven work experience in a B2B sales role within luxury travel or hotels
  • The ability to travel both within the DACH region and abroad.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop rapport through a confident phone manner.
  • MS Office & general IT skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of organisation
  • Confidence to work independently, as well as creatively as part of a team.
