The role...

Typically you’d be working the operational elements of travel, ensuring that trips are executed with industry leading guest experience. You will build relationships with suppliers, your internal team and the occasional client. Troubleshooting issues as they arise and reviewing procedures to further streamline systems. You may have a small team around you or be working across various departments to a shared objective.

  • >2 years experience on aftersale and operations responsibilities for adventure or luxury travel
  • An active listener and effective salesperson
  • Problem solver; viewing challenges as a way to grow
  • Motivated to go above and beyond for your team & clients
  • Calm under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a proactive, can-do attitude and be confident working closely across all departments
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work to quick deadlines
  • Excellent Excel and Office skills, assisting in managing various spreadsheets
  • Highly organised with the ability to organise and prioritise their workload

The Day to Day 

  • Acting as a professional ambassador for the brand when liaising with all clients and suppliers
  • Executing pre-prepared or bespoke itineraries
  • Maintaining operational efficiency through the business, assessing areas of weakness and take a pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Liaising with a range of suppliers in the UK and Europe, including hotels, tour guides, transport companies and private guides
  • Diligently checking all bookings for accuracy; this may require that you chase contacts for confirmations and check the finer details of all our travel experiences
  • Maintaining CRM and other systems
  • Researching information about destinations, e.g. restaurants, tourist activities, and iconic events for the calendar.

Typical salary brackets for these roles sit between £33K - £40K DOE  and we have clients actively wanting talent who fits this brief.
