London 28K - 35K Permanent
Founded in 2013, our client plans extraordinary experiences, journeys, and events for high-end clients around the world. They carefully look after every detail of a trip from start to finish. I've known the owner personally for a good few years (PURE quality) and can safely say they're just absolutely lovely and will look after whoever gets this role. This role is not to be missed, but read on for the specifics...
The exciting role of Travel Designer is key for the business. You will work very closely with the two founders and owners to execute and plan inspirational tailored itineraries according to our clients’ preferences, unlocking access to beautiful hotels and villas, the best restaurants, activities, and incredible experiences. You will also help manage client events around the world.
You will need to use your imagination, knowledge & flair to create unique and beautifully presented itineraries and memorable holiday experiences. This is not an order taking sales role – our client pride themselves on knowledge, creating itineraries which match their client’s needs and expectations and thinking about all the little details that make big differences.
This role has come about due to a huge surge in bookings post pandemic and the person will be coming on board and hitting the ground running with bookings. Training will of course be given, but with this in mind, this role is more suited to a seasoned luxury trip planner.
Our client has made a conscious decision to focus on the base salary for this role to ensure that the person they bring into the company is looked after. They are looking for someone who has an excellent track record of booking trips for HMWI and comes with great 5* product knowledge (open to knowledge in one particular destination, the most important thing is bespoke creation of trips for HNWI).
As it's currently a small team of two, the person would ideally be based near either London or Brighton and expect to work a hybrid model with the owner and business partner. To be clear from the get go, it won't work if you are based further afield unfortunately, due to training needing to be in person and learning on the go.
The current team are tenacious, fun and hard-working and this role is suited to you if you are willing to put in the hard work, but also like to have a great working relationship with your co-workers. We're looking for a team player and someone who prides themselves on their service levels.
