Sales Executive

London- Hybrid Up to £33,000 DOE - OTE £40K Permanent

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an articulate, creative, and enthusiastic team player with experience in sales both face to face and over the telephone. This sales role will be promoting worldwide events by getting sponsorships from luxury brands, DMOs, luxury hotels, etc. You'll be working alongside the sales team in generating new leads from specific geographical areas. 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced team professional with exhibition, luxury events or hotel or travel industry management experience or luxury goods.
  • Deep understanding of luxury travel.
  • The ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers is vital.
  • Innovative and creative thinker with the ability to implement strategy.
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • A strong understanding of luxury worldwide (travel and goods).
  • Proven analytical skills, ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience within exhibitions or B2B tourism or hotel/travel sales would be an advantage.
  • Proactive and solution oriented with the ability to motivate others in delivering targets.
  • People person able to create long lasting relationships.

The Day to Day:

  • Overall responsibility of getting sponsorships from global luxury brands, hotel companies or DMOs for worldwide events.
  • Generate leads to pass on to the sales team with clearly defined targets.
  • Create an appropriate supplier and sponsor sales offer and convert sales.
  • Account management.
  • Generating revenue through sponsorships.
  • Attend company events and competitor events (both domestically and internationally) thereby maintaining relationships, expanding the database and prospecting heavily for new business.
  • Keep ahead of market developments, identifying, and researching new growth areas.
  • Working very closely with the marketing and events team to deliver on promises.
  • Contribute to the team in identifying new potential opportunities or business partners that will lead to the expansion of the client portfolio.
  • Contribute to strategic direction and identify opportunities to improve the event.

The Fine Print:

  • Up to £33,000 DOE
  • Earning potential up to £40,000 with OTE factored in
  • Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 WFH
  • 9am- 6pm, Monday- Friday
  • Must be commutable to London Victoria
