The role...

This will be the client's biggest hire to date. They are looking for a Sales Manager with fantastic connections in the luxury accommodation world who can join them and lead sales autonomously. The founders have been running sales thus far but with no previous experience in a sales role, have taken the business as far as they can. It is a collaborative, ego-free environment and is suited to someone with experience in a start-up.

The day-to-day...

• Build and maintain connections with partners
• Represent the clients' brand when on the road 
• Build a sales pipeline
• Communicate with the clients' stakeholders 
• Report on sales performance
• Liaise with external partners to maximise revenue opportunities 
• Collaborate on marketing projects to increase brand awareness

About you...

• Have experience in a hotel/accommodation sales role (luxury preferred)
• A good network of luxury industry contacts
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Detail oriented 
• Well organised 
• A self-starter with a proactive approach to sales
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with business owners
• Experience at a start-up would be beneficial
• Willing and able to travel to meetings

Salary: 70k ZAR per month

Hybrid work: 3 days a week on-site in Franschhoek, 2 days remote
