Sales & Partnerships Manager

UK / Remote £40k - £45k Permanent

The Role...

Your role will be to promote, engage and grow business using your existing network, people skills and relationship capabilities to grow B2B partnerships. You will work with a range of businesses including DMC’s, Tour Operators, OTA’s and direct with senior business leaders to arrange private group tour business. You're an entrepreneurial character who pushes boundaries and thinks outside the box to drive business, constantly sourcing and positioning new ideas to grow and position the brand.

The day to day...

  • You will work cross functionally in the business, to prioritise and execute existing opportunities in the group sales area, tailoring products to suit corporate groups, win and retain business.
  • You will work with OTA partners to source opportunities for growth, actively analysing and growing third party sales.
  • You will pitch for new business and be comfortable working with a range of partners including (but not limited to) Tourism boards, DMC’s, Tour Operators and working with account owners to develop group business.
  • You will work with the VP of Marketing and wider marketing team to plan the company's annual trade and sales marketing plan.
  • You will be tasked with negotiating commercial terms with partners ensuring a strong partnership that yields commercial results.
  • Source, recommend and attend trade events that will help establish the brand as a premium player in the activities space. 
  • You will work with the VP of Marketing to develop and manage a suitable marketing budget to drive sales activity producing an effective ROI.

Skills & Experience

  • A proven track record of developing B2B accounts in the travel industry with a network of contacts.
  • Understanding of OTA’s, how they operate, and how to utilise their business to grow revenue.
  • Extensive experience sourcing and pitching new business, comfortable implementing process internally where required to support this.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to tailor make packages for corporate clients, managing the sales process and relationship to ensure quality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to remain hands on and work in a fast paced scale-up environment
