Social Media Manager

London (HYBRID) £35K Permanent

The Company

Based in London, our client specialises in crafting the most creative travel experiences on the planet, counting some of the world’s most successful, UHNW individuals among their clients. A company after our own heart, they have a passion for meaningful travel and a focus on environmental sustainability. 

They have discovered both Roman shipwrecks and a new species of killer whale, re-homed giant tortoises by helicopter, and been the very first to pilot a private submersible in Antarctica.

The Role 

As part of a growing London-based team, our client is looking for a creative, curious and dynamic professional – that can demonstrate the skills to run an outstanding social media campaign and help assist the team with marketing and PR activity.

You’ll be a natural storyteller with a passion for developing innovative and emotive travel content across multiple platforms in a range of formats, from imagery and video to on-brand graphics.

You will be creative and strategic with excellent communication skills that understands our clients brand & vision and can devise compelling content for HNW consumers across social media platforms. 

Working closely with the Head of Communications and Head of Marketing, this is a unique opportunity to grow one of the world’s most pioneering and exciting luxury travel brands.

The Day to Day

  • Supporting in the company's social media content delivery 
  • Creating compelling digital content (video, images, reels, graphics, copy) for all digital and social media platforms
  • Helping manage and organise a media library of world-class imagery and video
  • Co-ordinating content production, briefing and extracting information from internal team members and working alongside photographers, videographers, designers and copywriters
  • Delivering all social media activity, including posting, scheduling, community management and channelling customer responses to relevant teams
  • Reporting on analytics and insights to shape the content strategy
  • Attending company events to capture social media content
  • Keeping informed of the latest news and practices in social media and digital marketing, as well as trends in the UHNW luxury sphere
  • You may also be required to fulfil other reasonable tasks as we may require from time to time in line with your role

About You

  • Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing role is a bonus but this role is also open to a passionate, luxury travel professional with personal social media presence who is looking to move their career in the direction of content and social media.
  • Leading design, photography, video and animation skills
  • A degree in Marketing, Media, English or other relevant field would be beneficial
  • An understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Instagram Insights) and how these can inform content strategy and deliver the best ROI
