Executive Travel Coordinator

London £30K - £40K + commission Permanent

We've known the owner of this business for 10 years and watched them take the luxury travel world by storm. Now they are a team of 15 travel experts in both the US (Chicago + Tenessee) and London with a passion for the unknown and the undiscovered. Our clients advisors create tailor-made itineraries for a diverse global clientele - providing a wide range of services to both leisure and corporate travelers as well as the thrill-seeking adventurists. They're pretty badass, and it's a female owned and operated biz, which we of course love.

The Role

We've called this role a Executive Travel Coordinator, it's a brand new role and one our client describes as 'a role for mega growth - and zero ceilings' and we couldn't agree more. In short, you'll be doing traditional EA tasks, supporting the team, fielding new client requests and getting involved where needed as a support system to the London office of 4 pax, whilst being the CEO's right hand person. You'll get to travel with her lots too....

The Person

We're pretty open to the type of person for this role, but are after someone who is well presented and career driven, but also with a playful side and wants to enjoy their role and the people they work with.

You have to love the travel industry, be prepared to travel lots and have meticulous attention to detail - as well as being able to thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.

You'll be licking your lips at the prospect of being mentored by one of the industry's biggest names and jumping into the world of experiential travel and HNWI.

This role wouldn't suit an established agent - we're looking for someone new to the industry (or has a few years experience maybe) but that has work experience of at least 3-5 years and transferrable skills.

The Day to Day

- Managing the Owners inbox as well as the new enquiries inbox, fielding new requests to the team and alerting owner of VVIP requests

- Manage client expectations in terms of timeframes and support the team on their deliverables on an ad-hoc basis

- Support in building itineraries, by working with suppliers on tailormade experiences and tours, working up to learning how to take on tasks like final documents, pre-arrival emails etc

- Support in keeping the supplier database and DB archive updated at all times, adding new vendors or info/tips shared in the group chat to a spreadsheet that everyone can consult

- Helping with finding a new office space for the London team (4 pax) in central or east London

The Small Print

Salary is negotiable - we have £30K-£40K as the bracket, but can build the package around the person, option to be included on cut of commission for teams trips etc for less base higher OTE.

Location: London

Start Date: ASAP
