The day to day...
- Using the company systems, manage and oversee client bookings, both your own and those of your team, from point of enquiry to quotation, and through to confirmation.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and partners on the ground to ensure the best rates of commission and levels of service.
- Ensure all client quotes are attractive, include all relevant costs and achieve the targeted average profit margin across all transactions.
- Manage the team to achieve personal and team revenue targets for the division.
- Manage your sales, revenue, and profit margin targets.
- Assist marketing with creating rich content for possible itineraries that will be used to promote products on the website.
- Attend educational trips from time to time to locations that you and your team are selling and provide accurate information and possible marketing content from those trips for future promotion.

- The candidate will be an effective communicator in both written and spoken English.

Experience...
- The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in travel sales gained from working for a tour operator in a client-facing role.
- Have proficient knowledge of multiple destinations across the region outlined above.
- Have managed a travel sales team.
- Have successfully managed sales performance against set targets to a high and consistent standard.
- Competent in the use of travel-based CRM and itinerary building software, preferably Dhruv.
- Some creative writing experience is preferable.
