The role...

To lead the Sales Team in delivering conversion rate, acquisition cost, revenue and profit targets to achieve business growth in line with the business plan. You will coach, train, motivate and manage the performance of Travel Specialists of varying experience in achieving sales targets. 

To create a buzz within the Sales Team by energising and inspiring people to strive for improvement and goal achievement. This role is for a people driven sales leader that thrives on delving into their team and building up the individuals to hit their goals.

The role will be the representative for all new business so as well as managing a team will also be expected to be able to exploit new opportunities in the market. With an overarching goal to maximise sales for our client, a strong commercial acumen is required to deliver in exceeding budget expectations, and delivering on KPI’s.

Strong leadership capabilities – including the ability to manage a large sales operation, maintain & foster effective working relationships and guide and instil an attitude of confidence in all team members. 

The ideal candidate...

We’re flexible on seniority to an extent for this one, we're looking for a minimum of 3 years in a senior sales position managing a team. You could be a Sales Manager at the top of their game, a Head of, or a DOS looking for a new challenge. The non-negotiable here is we’re looking for a strong sales leader who prioritises people, with a track record of profitable business growth.

We want a candidate that will be able to lead from the front and inspire others. Someone who has a strong understanding of sales and relationships in all their forms, that is able to manage internal and external stakeholders and implement processes, streamlining the sales function from within the team.

You’ll come in at 'Head of' or Director level and have control from the get go, being empowered and supported to make the role your own.

You'll be a master salesperson; provide feedback and coaching; empower and collaborate; provide clarity to your team; take ownership and be accountable; champion a strong team culture; be adaptable and flexible.

The day to day...

  • Available to meet with/speak to clients at any and every stage of the customer journey
  • Be the face of the company and escalation point for managing & resolving client sales problems pre or post holiday
  • Weekly 1 to 1s with each team member
  • Monitoring and improving sales KPIs including regular reporting to leadership
  • Enquiry distribution – manage workload of each team member
  • Manage Aged Debtors
  • Ensure CSQs completed
  • Oversee product, process and systems training
  • Problem solving with team members
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Ensure business systems have up to date, accurate data at all times

The Fine Print

Salary: €60k - €85k DOE + bonus

Location: Hybrid / Dublin / circa 4 days in office

Reporting To: Managing Director
