The Role:
You will be the key support to the travel team in all aspects of travel operations, ensuring a flawless transition through to the client experience. You should have a keen eye for detail and organisations as well as a solutions based mentality so that you can collaborate with your colleagues and suppliers to a common objective. You desire the ultimate efficiency and are constantly looking for ways to develop systems and structures because the devil is in the detail!
Due to the nature of the company this role is an excellent opportunity for a charismatic operations whizz looking for their next step up with the ability to progress into a Travel Designer position once you have proved your abilities.
The Day to Day...
- Supporting the travel advisors in managing big-budget, multi-faceted projects and bringing ultra-creative concepts to life.
- You will be involved in projects from initial call to the client returning home
- Ensuring every last detail is checked and any unavoidable problems are solved
- Dealing with the post-sales administration of client bookings, double checking details, ensuring documentation is prepared correctly and and all invoices and bookings are entered correctly in the relevant systems.
- Helping with the checking and entry of booking details
- Coordinating with regional partners and local suppliers to ensure documentation and service delivery is correct
- Assisting the travel team with troubleshooting service issues from an operational perspective
- Working closely with all teams to ensure client/trip information is correctly stored in the relevant internal systems
- Ensuring local suppliers have correct brand collateral for clients
- Assisting with the smooth delivery/checking and dispatch of client documentation/packs
The Ideal Candidate:
- A team player who brings energy and a positive attitude to their work
- 2+ years experience creating experiences in luxury, adventure and or bespoke travel.
- Proactive and curious with big and creative ideas.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Growth mindset - sees opportunities for the industry to change.
- Attention to detail - in luxury every detail has to be thoughtfully considered.
- Enjoys ensuring that every nitty-gritty detail is executed flawlessly
- Love of travel, culture, people and new experiences.
The Small Print:
- £30,000 - £34,000 DOE + bonus
- Two WFH days per week
