South America Travel Specialist

South America (Remote) $40K-$50K + commission Permanent

Our clients are an award-winning (female owned + operated) luxury adventure travel brand with a whole lot of heart. They're a group of wholesome, grounded, level-headed people who are seriously passionate about travel, the environment, sustainability, and the great outdoors.

They're in this business because we share a love of adventure, wildlife, people, and joyful moments. Their team has over 100 years of combined experience in the travel industry. They are renowned for their trips to Africa, but are now organising South America trips and are looking for someone to spearhead their sales! What an opportunity!

The Team Dynamic? Remote working at its best.

Even though our client is fully remote (and always have been—they're not new to this!) they're closely connected through weekly team meetings, annual retreats, and regular meet-ups. Their team members are go-getters, self-motivated, and empowered—they trust each other to get that work done. They have team members in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, Cape Town, Washington DC, and Vancouve to give you a picture.

They are now looking to expand the team out to on the ground in South America for this role excitingly and are looking for a superstar used to planning trips for US clients to take this role on for them. You can be based in any country in South America - the role is fully remote and paid in USD $.

Sounds like your dream company right? Lets tell you about the day to day:

  • Design custom itineraries in consultation with clients and partner travel agents.
  • Respond to online and phone inquiries in a sales-minded fashion.
  • Develop and maintain a network of existing and new clientele through regular outreach to build and maintain relationships.
  • Collaborate with our clients Operations Team to ensure smooth travel logistics before and during client travel (you'll have a dedicated South America Operations support for this role).
  • Communicate with clients after their trip to evaluate their experience and stay up to date on the quality of each property and the experience it offers.
  • Stay on top of current destination and property news as well as new products and opportunities
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with local DMC’s, property representation, and property and camp staff.

You're in right? Well here's the must haves from the client:

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience putting together custom luxury itineraries in South America

Must love people, and thrive off learning what motivates and excites them.

Excellent verbal and written English.

Must truly understand experiential travel and get excited by creating unique tailor made experiences for clients.

Ideally have travelled to and sold the region - our client's top destinations they're looking for experience in are: Ecuador + Peru + Chile + Colombia, with Brazil being a HUGE plus.

The Small Print

$40,000 - $50,000 USD depending on experience + commission 

Mon-Fri 9am - 5:30pm EST < the equivalent of this.

Remote South America - open to all countries.

Access to special industry rates on hotels and lodges to use on their personal time off
