The Role: Product Manager 

We are looking for an experienced product manager to work as part of the team based in London. We are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running and be an asset to the existing Product team; You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of product within the villa space. Covering the full product cycle from competitor analysis and positioning, through to supplier negotiation, contracting and content checking, this is a hands-on role and requires a thorough understanding of the villa marketplace.

  • Domestic and international trips to meet with existing and potential new partners
  • Fostering positive relationships with suppliers, industry bodies and partners
  • Making yourself a key person to know in the travel industry
  • Supplying the sales team with new product updates and education
  • Identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue

The Skills Required

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in a product manager role within the travel industry (ideally within Villa space, but open to general luxury product managers too).
  • Commercially astute
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, a confident and professional
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be adaptable with a positive manner as this will be an evolving role within the business
  • Superb network of contacts within luxury travel

The Day to Day

  • Source new worldwide luxury travel suppliers (focus on Europe)
  • Maintain relationships with current suppliers
  • Drive product strategy
  • Act as company representative at key industry events and functions, seeking opportunities to develop partner relationships and grow your network
  • Commercially responsible for negotiating rates with suppliers
  • Develop new product to ensure the company has highly competitive properties and
    experiences in the luxury travel market
  • Conducting destination research and competitor analysis to create proposals for new destinations and products with evident rationale on demand, value and potential revenue.
  • Developing excellent strategic relationships with all suppliers to ensure access to the best services at the best rates.
  • Ensuring tours are competitive in a crowded marketplace, have a clear placement and differentiation within the product range and fulfil customer value propositions.
  • Creation and delivery of training resources to ensure products are distributed into the wider business and marketplace effectively.
  • Supporting operations to ensure product is being delivered to the company standard and suppliers are fulfilling the Service Level Agreement.


The Fine Print

  • Reporting to: Head of Product, General Manger until September 2022
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Basis: Full time with hybrid working policy
  • Location: London Bridge
  • Basis: Full time - core hours 9-5:30, with flexi-time, additional office hours as the business requires and the role requires international travel.
  • Salary: £40,000
